What we do:

We are a group of societies among all universities in London with one aim: raising awareness for all types of cancer. Our goal is to raise funds for several cancer campaigns specifically Cancer Research UK. We are trying to create a society where students of City University, Imperial and King's College have a direct impact on improving the lives of cancer patients through fundraising and volunteering.

How we do it:

• Host educational talks with reputable doctors on the different types of cancer to educate our fellow peers on the subject

​

• Fundraising events involving different departments of the university

​

• Work alongside London universities hosting events on and off campus to raise funds for multiple organisations

​

What I did:

​

I was the communications officer of City Takes on Cancer. I was in charge of designing posters, flyers and the logo for City Takes on Cancer, Imperial Takes on Cancer and Universities of London Take on Cancer.
